“After ending a 20 yr marriage and starting to date again, this podcast has helped me through many rough spots. My bf of almost 4 years suddenly started avoiding me and ghosted me. He had a lot going on in a drawn out messy divorce, but he was really the first person I felt safe and secure with- maybe ever. I noticed I wasn’t on high alert with him constantly and had a lot of faith in us. He told me he wanted to break up because of our kids having a tough time with us dating, even though we always said it wasn’t up to them who we spend our time with. I felt sorry for him… from February 2023 until July 2023- when I looked over the phone bill and saw he had been cheating on me since probably Sept 2022. It blew my mind. This has been the worst breakup I’ve ever been through and has cycled me through all the stages of grief and heartbreak several times. Your podcast has kept me grounded and is something I turn to when I feel myself spiraling into “that place”. Your talks on attachment have helped me focus more on myself and less on investigating a past failed relationship. Thank you for the work you do and I hope you’ll do a few incorporating single moms navigating heartbreak while parenting!!!”
