My discovery about Anxious Attachment
I have been trough 2 divorces and many years of choosing to be alone. Recently I decided I want to have a LTR with a committed partner. As soon as I started navegating the dating scene my past anxiety hit me again. I tried to understand why since I was not even that interested in this person anyway and it was so early on but I couldn’t so I just thought I am not meant to be with someone. Until someone told me about anxious attachment and I landed on Stephanie’s podcast with has been the most eye opening experience to me so far of how my brain actually works and why I do feel so out of control and overtaken by a tornado of anxious emotions when I attempt to have a partner. In her podcast she has a way of explaining how anxious attachment works and even the possibility that it can be healed which it is a light in the end of a very narrow tunel with the possibility that I might actually find a way to be a better person in a relationship and who knows maybe feel loved and make it last. Thank you for giving hope when I obviously have lost it.
