“Spoiler alert! Just finished listening to season 3. It was well told and investigated but I got disappointed towards the end, when the truth was disclosed. Instead of condemning the culprit, it would have been much more interesting to get a possible explanation for what drove him. He committed a desperate act and I'm not at all sure that his plan was as well thought out as the podcast would have us believe. He probably had some kind of hope, but his whole life gives the impression of having collapsed, piece by piece. He committed reprehensible acts but not only. As mentioned, he seems to have been complex and above all he seems to have lost the motivation and drive he had from the beginning. How did it happen? Many questions remain and I think the podcast ducked for some of the most difficult. Trying to understand is much harder than just condemning. I missed that aspect.”Read full review »
