Great guy and great reviewer. Always seems to love what he's doing and always having a great time. Love the snarkiness and self depricating humor.

Update: Can someone please buy Tom a Xbox1 and a PS4 :) A hidden gem! Give it a listen, you won't regret it.

Tom Chick has been wrtiing about video games for some time. Great stuff. His voice carries over well to the 'cast, and his latest run covering board games has taken the 'cast to the next level.

Love this podcast. I'm a long time reader of Tom Chick and his podcast, filled out by his ever changing cast of misfits, is always entertaining. Tom has some niche gaming tastes but always good insight.

Excellent, intelligent game-related conversation.

Tom, Jason and Nick offer a great podcast each week that looks at the latest games and news and attempts cut through all the hype. Definitely aimed at grownups who play games and might be looking for a more critical analysis of what has happened during the week that isn't just a rehash of press...Read full review »

If you want an intelligent, informative podcast look elsewhere. These guys have no integrity whatsoever. They crap on great games to get page hits and sing the praises if mediocre indie games because Tom is a hipster. All ego and no talent hacks.

I didn't appreciate their dismissive and ill-informed 6-13-2012 discussion of Subutai Corp's (Neal Stephenson) plans for a sword-fighting game called CLANG. I'm sure everything else they've done is awesome. Really. Stephenson is not some random celebrity who is lending his name to a game...Read full review »

Listening to this 'cast cured my blindness! Truly a wonderous show with strange healing powers.

Informal but informed gamers and industry vets talk about what's going on in the industry. These are older (sometimes wiser) PC gamers but with a ranging curiosity that touches on mobile, handheld and console gaming too. Don't be shocked if board game or tabletop RPG references crop up right...Read full review »

Tom Chick and Jason McMaster - professional game writers whose combined body of work includes writing for Crispy Gamer, Gamepro, and Computer Gaming World - host this excellent video game podcast, along with a guest every week. Usually these guests are just normal folk who volunteer to be on,...Read full review »

Terrific, weekly show. Game-themed, but the hosts are not afraid of straying into the weeds. Tom Chick is a natural interviewer, able to draw out interesting angles from even the most taciturn guest. The sense of camaraderie is palpable. Worthwhile for any gaming enthusiast, not just members of...Read full review »

Really a fantasic podcast, very entertaining. Tom Chick is endlessly entertaining, as well as McMaster. The format is always the same so you know what to expect and they generally stay on topic. 5 stars.

Tom Chick, Jason _ McMaster, and special guests (including Shadow Cat who occasionally chimes in) cover the entire spectrum of gaming with an informed, insider's view that's also light hearted, funny and irreverant. Give it a whirl, heck, it's free, did they mention free (?) - and you'll have...Read full review »

This is the podcast belonging to the guy who has the unique perspective of someone who's played more games for more time than any other person on the planet. That might make him the definitive source of video game knowledge.

So I actually just listen to these on the website directly, but it's fun to rate stuff so here I am. Always a fun listen, and always makes my commutes go by much faster. And in no way am I biased by having been a guest on the podcast.

I had, like, cancer of the torso really bad. Then I started listening to this podcast, and now I'm cancer free!

Good cast. Not as much off-topic as some casts. Tom is a very good host and moves things along nicely. Mcmaster is a pimp daddy. Also, I love the guests if the week.
