I wish this podcast would have continued. It was SO GOOD. An incredibly thoughtful lineup of guests and topics. Learned a lot that helped me with thinking through my research on wartime trauma and PTSD.

The questions are short and the answers thoughtful, heartfelt, clear, and easy to understand by us lay people. The information imparted by the clinicians is reliable, so well researched, and incredibly helpful for everyday application in real life. Thank you thank you thank you.

Each episode has captured my attention, given me something to work on, inspired me and sparked a thoughtful realization that resilience is the work I need to do. Each person has shown to be of high intelligence. The type of people who can be looked up to, used as models, mentors and positive...Read full review »

I came across this podcast serendipitously and it caught my attention. I have always been interested in resilience as both an innate and learned trait...and one I wished I had more of. I’ve found this podcast moving, insightful and inspiring. The later episodes are better than the first few but...Read full review »

Love the new host, Jon Earle! He speaks with such empathy and compassion, a great edition to the show!

The host has the affected tambor and pacing of something like a local news reporter. The interview portions sound more comfortable and the content itself is a great listen, but this won’t be one of the podcast I refer to others.

I just listened to the episode about hepatitis C, which walks through the history of the virus, but does so without losing sight of the human element and what it is, or was, like to battle with the disease. An excellently told story, and an important one.

I've been using Dr. Charney and Southwick's work to teach resilience skills and tools to U.S. diplomats for several years. They are the resilience experts and their work informs this podcast. These are thoughtful, scientifically based, and engaging podcasts.Read full review »

Excellent content, cold delivery. The vocal tone is that of a newscaster not amenable to the content whatsoever.

It’s very helpful having people on the podcast discuss their lives and ways of coping with difficulties . However ,...Read full review »

This podcast presents the topics from a wide variety of participants who are mostly healthcare practitioners. The interviewer is very good but the style seems a little stilted. It’s more news/reporter like than conversational and I think the podcast would benefit from lightening up that part. She...Read full review »
