I applaud the host for his intentions to bring awareness to the mental health issues. I listened to him since the very beginning. Unfortunately I have to disagree with his Catholic Theology. He merges liberal views with some aspects of the faith to avoid telling viewers the full truth. This is...Read full review »

Tommy Tighe helps flesh out the idea that God and the Church calls us to greater spiritual, mental and physical health. I especially love that he helps sort out what may be mental suffering from what is willful behavior. A grounded, funny and merciful voice! Thanks Tommy!

I’m new to the Church (5 months) and new to SDP. I’m so glad I found this helpful soul who lets me know it’s ok to struggle with anxiety and panic attacks while being Catholic. I’m grateful to be a part of the community 🙏🏻

Tommy offers so much insight, compassion, and wisdom. Thank you for this invaluable podcast. I feel less alone. And more importantly, I know God’s love abounds, particularly during the dark times.

As St. Thomas Aquinas brought Aristotle into Catholic theology, Tommy champions therapy as a (sometimes) necessary complement to good Catholic practice as we all strive for sound mental health and blessed peace. I will be recommending this to my students.🥰🙏🏻

Straightforward discussion about mental health from a Catholic perspective. Concrete, actionable advice on how to accompany folks who are currently struggling with particular issues. It’s helped me better understand and interact with family members with anxiety, depression and suicide attempts.

Loved the first podcast. You may be on to something incredibly important, and needed, in our Catholic community. Despite my issues, my ‘true North” has always been the “True Church” and her sacraments. Thank you, friends. Mike
