How to Beat Fear & Live Your Dreams

Description
Starting new things is scary.  We've all been there. We know how it feels to be scared to try something new because we're afraid of failing, or we're afraid that people will think we're weird for trying something new. It's easy to stay in our comfort zones and not push ourselves out of them, but when we do push ourselves out of our comfort zones, amazing things happen. Trying new things enables so much growth and can set us down the right path for where our lives are meant to go. We just need to keep reminding ourselves that starting something new is never easy—but it's also never permanent. However, this mentality can be (very) challenging to adopt. Fortunately, this week on the See Me Show podcast, we get to hear from Author, Educator, and Entrepreneur, Sujaya Devi, on how we can achieve our goals and begin something new despite our fears. Sujaya is Canadian-Indo-Trinidadian and she published her first book “Write Left” in 2017 and launched her second book, “Devi(l): poetry and prose” in 2021. Her work is inspired by culture, identity, and wellness. Sujaya is the host and producer of Our First Page, a podcast about beginnings. Sujaya works in higher education in administration and media. Sujaya is a media professor and aims to empower students at the beginning of their journeys.  Connect with Sujaya and check out her books by visiting: https://linktr.ee/sujayadevi Connect with me: Email: [email protected] Instagram: @haileyrodddgersPodcast Instagram: @seemeshowpodI'm always looking for guests so please reach out to me through any of these channels and I'd be happy to discuss a potential episode :)
