YOU ARE NOT MENTAL! - Don't Let Your Diagnosis Define You...

Description
We need to change our perception around the word 'mental' and also mental health in general. Being classed as mental, and feeling like we are is holding us back from recovering. In this episode I dive into how I felt about being told I had depression. I personally fought against it, doing all I could to not be diagnosed and it worked in my favour. But other guests, when diagnosed have felt clarity, have felt at ease and have started their recovery because now they know why they feel that way. As I always say, how you deal with mental health is always personal. And what works for me might be different to what works for you... But more importantly, don't feel like you're mental. Don't let anyone tell you you are. Don't feel like you're alone.
