I personally love Green’s beautifully accurate comment on everything even though they are all culturally dependent. Anyway, these works are still inspiring for to take a closer look at my life, learning and peering little ecstasy hidden around.

I loved all of John Green’s books when I was a young adult and now as a grown adult the Anthropocene Reviewed is fantastic and heart breaking and hilarious all at once.

It’ll make you laugh, cry, and Hope. John Green has created a series of small, beautiful Masterpieces. I can only hope he is able to take the time to make more.

“The Anthropocene Reviewed” is a recent discovery for me, and I enjoy the episodes very much. Nice storytelling and insights about a diversity of (unexpected) aspects of the anthropocene. I give “The Anthropocene Reviewed” 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

John green is incredible at writing, reading, and putting everything into these podcasts. His views on the way humanity has become too powerful and yet not powerful enough, on humanities temporal range, and on geese, are all deeply personal yet amazingly widespread and relatable. His way of...Read full review »

I love this podcast so much. I have been brought to tears by a number of episodes. Not because they are sad but because they are so beautiful. John Green’s use of the English language and his style of writing take you on a little journey with each episode. You start off on a path that will often...Read full review »

I’ve listened to every episode more than 10 times and just can’t get enough!! I can quote each one word for word and really fell like I know John green personally😂. This podcast has also inspired me to read all his books and I am so grateful for that because they, especially turtles all the way...Read full review »

Nine year old John heartbroken over not getting his books signed crushed my soul and his response to that memory restored my faith in humanity. It’s the little things. John Green gets it.

Honestly, I had no expectations when I found this podcast. I’m halfway through the episodes and dreading the end. I cry most episodes but I’ve stopped wondering if I’m the only one. I can’t be.

I started listening to this podcast, a while after finishing the book, ‘The Anthropocene Reviewed’. Primarily, because I can’t stop thinking about it, and partially because I can’t get enough of it. I learned so much from the book, and I love John as a human being. John, if you happen to read...Read full review »

There are no faults in this pod! Review done and dusted. But for those still reading. This series is like a favourite book you can go back and relisten to certain favourite chapters when you are feeling them (googling strangers, capacity for wonder, the Yips, an orbital sunrise) or binge through...Read full review »

Quite beautiful, really. Sometimes it’s really hard to find good podcasts, and this one is VERY good. I love Green’s humor, ideas, writing, and sense of compassion for this current era, the Anthropocene. Everything about it is well written, well told, and well thought about. I truly love this...Read full review »

I love this podcast to fall asleep with. The low calming voice puts a blanked over me. Not, episode 3. Wonderful episode, but not to fall asleep with. I'll be sleepless for some more hours now, listening to the calm breathing of my son.Read full review »

I feel sometimes my friends worry that I look at the world in a way that is too heavy. I am devastated by its injustice and suffering. Yet to me, I feel hope in this anyway. This podcast put words to this hope. It was not dismissive of suffering at all. This brings isolation rather than hope in...Read full review »

John Green can talk about anything. And that’s why this podcast is so engaging. He is invested in sharing, researching and thinking as much as he can about any subject. Short, brilliant, intriguing essays.

Yes, I think the podcast that everyone says it great actually is great. I only cried 3 times listening to the first 10 episode - I may be dead inside. This is the audio version of stopping to smell the roses and musing ‘why?’

John Green uses fancy words for normal phenomena, and sensationalizes small things that happen. He also talks about abstract concepts in depth, adding layers of meaning to them. I looked forward to new episodes of this in my feed more than any other podcast. Literally would see it drop in and immediately set aside time in my schedule to listen to it uninterrupted. I bought the book, but I hope John will return to this project again in the future and add more chapters…

Love this podcast and the blend of nerdy facts with beautiful prose. I would give it 5 stars except for the commercials (the loud fast voice stands in stark contrast to John’s soothing voice)
