I’ve loved this podcast—just as I’ve loved The Crown. I’ve totally loved this podcast—& The Crown. They are both one for the ages.

I enjoyed listening to this podcast immensely. Edith Bowman did a tremendous job at the helm and the production staff did too. My only lament is that it didn’t start earlier. I’d have loved to hear derp dives into the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. Well done and thank you.

This fawning podcast - yes it includes star interviews - does not actually distinguish between Fact or Fiction in the portrayals of people of events enough, whereas the ‘The Crown: Fact or Fiction’ podcast sets out to do just that. A much more satisfying analysis for fans.

“Sleep, Dearie Sleep” was nothing short of EPIC!!

He was a very interesting in describing his process and experience of filming; but bit too emphatic in his way of speaking and stressing certain words and elongating his vowels. And to say that he couldn’t have done it without Elizabeth? How about the other way round? Edit after episode 9: poor...Read full review »

I joined this podcast late but it has helped me revisit the entire series while working through the final season. It is a must for every lover of The Crown.

This is an excellent podcast to listen to if you love the Netflix series! I’ve arrived to the series late, but binged listened to it all while I was watching!! Hearing from the people behind the scenes as well as the ones that make it happen has been my guilty pleasure! My only question is…can...Read full review »

This podcast deserves more recognition & love. The production value you can feel through the microphone. The host is excellent, & super knowledgeable. She really knows how to flow the perfect conversation for everything I was craving to hear about while watching the series.

This is a superb podcast. Every episode. But we need companion podcasts for the first two seasons! These are, perhaps, the episodes we need more historical data — and interviews with the cast and crew.

Season 5 and 6 have the worst casting choices. The Queen isn't convincing. Prince Charles is ridiculous don't get me started with Phillip. Game of Thrones guy doesn't do the handsome Phillip justice. They look & act nothing the real royals and have turned the show into...Read full review »

But what does "or very soon" mean at the beginning of every episode? Either you spoil the episode or you don't. It doesn't matter how long after we heard the podcast we saw the show. It's already spoiled.Read full review »

I had already watched all the seasons of the Crown when I found this podcast and was rewatching from the start (wish you had done this for Seasons 1&2!). I have to say that listening to this and then watching the episode again was an eye-opening experience. Just hearing from, and learning...Read full review »

I’ve never written a podcast review but this podcast is so riveting, I had to! It’s a fascinating and in-depth companion to the show with the behind the scenes info, cast/writers/producers interviews, historical background about the events. I discovered this while watching Season 4, craving more...Read full review »

I appreciate the variety of guests, from actors, directors, and other “behind-the-scenes” experts who are doing research to make the series as authentic as possible. Fascinating to hear how much work it takes to produce each season.

I stumbled upon this recommended by a friend after I finished The Crown Season 4 and I wanted more! I love the variety of guests and you are able to receive invaluable information from unique perspectives. Amazing job!

Hello! I love the show and I love hearing these deep dives of each episode! It appears that episode 2 and 3 of season 4’s podcast are the same audio. Can this please be corrected as I and I am sure many others would love to hear the behind the scenes of episode 2 season 4!

I LOVE this podcast! Find it so insightful - learning various bits of history, background and research and how it’s all pulled together. If you love the crown, listen to this! Just to flag, S4 E02 episode is playing E03 instead :(
Hannah.990 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/25/20
I have already watched all episodes and the podcast drip-feeds the episodes. Losing interest, regrettably. Why not make all episodes available?
carole mcleod via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/25/20
Episode 2 audio is episode 3.
Gemma_50 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/23/20
Completely devoid of any original or thoughtful observations. Prepare for such nuggets as “hair and make up really adds a lot”, “Thatcher was a dynamic female Prime Minister” and “This episode is rich with material”. A sad indictment of mainstream arts analysis. Don’t bother.
Ana19098 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/22/20
Some critical approach sometimes would be nice, instead constant praising of everybody in the cast and crew.
vityach via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/22/20
Love the podcast, but you need to upload the correct file for Episode 2! It’s playing Fairytale not Balmoral Test. I’m not the first person to post this, please fix it.

The Crown is one of the most insightful shows that centers around the Royal Family. I live in the US but I am so into any show that is British or focusing on the British. I find them to be more entertaining than my own country. The cast is amazing! Helena Bonham Carter is really well amazing (a...Read full review »

This podcast has great candid conversation and really fascinating questions are asked by the host. I appreciate that the people who work on The Crown behind the scenes (costumes, props, researchers) are being interviewed, and not just the actors.

Do truly enjoy listening to this podcast. So much information to go along with each story. Do wish the podcast would have been around for the first two seasons.
rahrahsooner via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/17/20
Has anyone else noticed that the second podcast is actually episode three of the programme and episode three of the podcast is also episode three of the programme. Where is episode two of the podcast?!
