Monday commutes made enjoyable
Monday morning traffic giving you hypertensive episodes? Have no fear, the Curbsiders will put you at ease. I enjoy the cadid approach to very high-yield topics in medicine coupled with recommended books and other off-hand topics that are great for any medical professional. The topics are specific but far-reaching in today's U.S. healthcare system. The podcast is easily understood at 1.5x for those of you needing to listen to as much of the Curbsiders as possible (one episode on the way to and one on the way back from whatever your destination may be). Listening to expert opinions on the various subjects has made my shelf studying more enjoyable. I look like a gunner thanks to the clinically-relevant information being easily understood to make me shine on rounds. Through the use of well-placed puns and humor in the podcast, time passes by seamlessly as I am engaged in the discussion. This podcast is the only one that has me laughing in my car, re-listening to relevant topics to my studies as I progress through my medical education journey, and looking forward to the release of each new episode on Mondays. If you're looking for a way to stay relevant in medicine, or are a novice like myself trying to learn, then stop reading this review and go listen to this amazing show.Read full review »

But, as a public health policy researcher and advocate, I love and sincerely appreciate what these guys are doing with this podcast....Read full review »

As a new intern, I don’t have much time to study. This show is my favorite way to learn while I’m driving to and from my site. Thanks for working on this!

One of the most informative AND entertaining medical podcasts in my library. Would recommend listening in for any primary care physicians and providers out there in podcast land!
