Sometimes a great show
The Next Generation episodes are so good, starting with the hosts’ sweet Star Trek related childhood anecdotes and earnest enthusiasm for the series and its characters, full of sensitive, detailed appreciation (aside from the ill-judged running 'joke' about Wesley). Then the Deep Space Nine years become a dirge of complaining about their podcasting life and documenting their drinking. Now episodes about the excellent Voyager series get derailed by a clutter of tired in-jokes with time-wasting audio clips for each one, incel-level gross graphic comments, and yelling lame material into listeners’ earphones for extra unfunny emphasis. A regrettable devolution; hopefully it can be reversed.Read full review »
