I didn't know I had been waiting 30 years for this, but this is the best way to revisit a show I saw every episode of as a child and was a little bit embarrased to admit. Wry observations from Six Bay to the Drunk Shimoda Memorial Corner are hilarious. An update some 8 years later… Still...Read full review »

All I want in this life is for Paramount to green light a spin off TV show about Icheb’s brother.

Only recently discovered this amazing companion to my favourite Trek (Voyager) and have been devouring each episode with barely contained glee going back to the start in reverse chronological order. Adam & Ben are hilarious and have a great affection for Trek, they aren’t afraid to poke fun...Read full review »

Some time ago I decided that I might want to give a TNG review podcast a try. I had real reservations about the prospect of taking a Star Trek podcast seriously but thought I’d look any way. Then I stumbled on the title, “The Greatest Generation”. This silly and irreverent title instantly made me...Read full review »

I felt personally called out as I listen to AT LEAST 6 episodes a week. Hilarious guys, great commentary, very cathartic. Voyager has such a special place in my heart, it’s so nice to listen to other people love it, too (except for Tuvix. We don’t talk about Tuvix).

This podcast is super-entertaining, and fun. I've been binge listening for a while, and e;njoying it. The guys are funny - like laugh-out-loud funny. In public. Also, as a 62 year old feminist woman, I'm overjoyed (and sometimes shamed) at their clear feminist perspective. It gives me...Read full review »

WARNING: It is with the utmost urgency that I share this: DO NOT listen to “The Greatest Generation” episode “Up Your Worf and Around the Corner” (DS9 S5E3) while putting in your contact lenses. When you reach timecode 55:49, the sudden deployment of an expertly-edited clip of Miles O’Brien...Read full review »

I have been a listener for a long time and thought it best I actually write a review. Ben and Adam produce an amazing podcast any Star Trek fan should listen to. It’s not only hilarious but it’s informative, comforting and has just the right amount of everything you could ever want. I did a few...Read full review »

This show is hilarious! I stumbled across it while rewatching TNG for the first time as an adult. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Beware of listening around kids though haha their honest disclaimers should be taken seriously. Made that mistake and had a lot of explaining to do haha I am...Read full review »

If you’re looking to avoid Big Rod while still admiring it then we welcome you home. View the majesty and wonder, of the Rod, with Ben & Adam while they shower you with their golden voices. Find yourself being salty at the end of every episode because it ended too quickly. But don’t worry,...Read full review »

Decent podcast with funny jabs occasionally. They continually beat a dead horse of a running joke that Picard is grooming Wesley Crusher. Made it to episode 18 when they mentioned a far superior Trek podcast, Mission Log. Now listening to them instead of these immature, racist, and homophobic...Read full review »

I remember first hearing this podcast mentioned by a friend of Ben and Adam on another pod, and thought I’d give it a try. I wish I was funny enough to leave a witty review, but Ben and Adam are so funny that I don’t have to be! Great show; I’ve listened to 295 eps so far with no plans to stop. I also enjoy Greatest Trek and Friendly Fire. So give it a listen, it’s not as embarrassing as advertised.

A beloved show given the treatment by two total devotees. Who else could farm the minutiae and head canon and turn the series into something to enough anew. Effectively Gross stands out as my personal favorite, Ruuuudeeeee. Keep up the momentum guys. Love the show.

I hate fruit based corporations. I’m here to review the greatest gen only. Adam and Ben are great, the show is funny and insightful re the production. The jokes are crude, rude and silly but kind hearted and inclusive. Keep up the great work. Tim

A “viewer” who is more than a little bit embarrassed to love this ridiculous podcast. I was watching Discovery and loved it, but at times couldn’t tell what the heck was going on. I grew up on TNG, and have a lot of nostalgia for it. These guys come at it from a similar perspective, and it's a lot of fun looking back on the TNG saga with them. The Next Generation episodes are so good, starting with the hosts’ sweet Star Trek related childhood anecdotes and earnest enthusiasm for the series and its characters, full of sensitive, detailed appreciation (aside from the ill-judged running 'joke' about Wesley). Are they the hardest working men in podcasting? Probably not. Do they pack their own merch and nestle the horgons between the shirts? Yes. Saw the show in Salt Lake. It was like the Beatles in Hamburg. Or maybe not, more like the show you and I love! Thanks for doing the work guys!!!

The long standing bit behind TGG is that the hosts and audience are a little bit embarrassed to be hosting and listening to a, as it were, “pee pee poo poo-based Star Trek podcast.” After seven years of listening to TGG and its sister show, The Greatest Trek, I can promise: there is no need to be...Read full review »

These guys are clearly overeducated big kids who love Star Trek. The takes are honest and comprehensive with a sprinkle of crude yet witty humor sprinkled in. I just wish they’d do a show in upstate NY! The Star Trek museum in Ticonderoga? Albany?

When I encounter a wild Star Trek fan in the wild, I usually ask them, “Are you a fan of inappropriate humor?” If they say yes, I recommend this show to them (and The Greatest Trek). Its like watching all of your favorite Star Trek again, without actually watching Star Trek. I really like how they summarize the episodes. They also have some interestring takes on how the shows were created. A good time, I highly recommend!
