Jim seems to just like listening to himself so much. He goes into all kinds of directions to digress and show off ..that his guest can’t even properly reason and present their case. The flow gets disrupted so so often. Maybe he should have another podcast that is just a monologue and such a genre...Read full review »

My favorite podcast, so smart and informative. Right combination of asking and listening, but also making his own good contributions to an engaging conversation.

Jim’s show features such a high calibre range of guests and ideas that it is consistently rewarding regardless of topic. But it is the treatment of the material and the impressive range and depth of thought that Jim brings to the conversations which elevates them most in my view. He has an...Read full review »

Love Jim’s eclectic guests and his tell-it-like-it-is commentary. My favorite podcast, even better than Kara and Scott.

One of the most brilliant podcasts I’ve had the pleasure of listening to! Jim consistently brings on fascinating guests that offer compelling conversations on the psychological and sociological issues that shape our world. I credit this show with making me a better citizen of this planet, and a...Read full review »

Thanks for again bringing to my attention a person and point of view that I would not otherwise have come across, in the form of Pamela Denise Long. I was stunned by the divergence between a cogent argument for the support of a specific minority in the USA - descendants of chattel slaves - with...Read full review »

I love the topics and how the conversations flow. Jim is always well prepared about the subject and polite with his guests.

Well this Jim guy has some serious off shore bank account energy, but when Lee Cronin read him an email from Dyson taking a big dump on complexity research, Jims humility and measured response got me on board. Good job.

Priding himself, legitimately, for working on a better future system why not give the guest Monica a microphone that does not sound like the 18th century vintage? The podcast experience is auditory. Could your producers make sure that both Jim and the guests have uptodate microphones? When one...Read full review »

Even though you and your guests are clearly out of my league intellectually, you open me up to new ideas and for that I’m very grateful.

Meh
It’s okay. Same old over privileged people offering disconnected solutions. If you are all so smart why don’t you enact something as an example for others as opposed to preaching from your slave labor inducing vacation homes. Jim is annoying at times.

For the most part this show is entertaining and I always learn something. However, the conversation with Douglas Rushkoff was a bit upsetting when the host tried to compare the Black Lives Matter protesters to the Canadian truck convoy. There is not even a hint of equivalency in their actions or...Read full review »

My working hypothesis is that Jim Rutt is an undercover agent from an advanced alien civilisation who has been sent here to Earth to help guide us humans to a higher level of understanding and maturity. The format of the show is simple; the best and brightest of humanity come on the show to...Read full review »

It is rare to find people like Jim Rutt who is both able to ask the right questions, find the right people to answer them, and actively engaging in the work to implement these answers in the real world. Game B and other movements trying to add complexity approaches to problem solving is vital for the survival of the earth. Jim Rutt gives that a voice, and his podcast the most important outlet in that space. Thank you for your hard work!

Jim intensively prepares for his interviews. Reminds me of Charlie Rose in his prime. I imagine most of his guests collapse after they hang up the phone.

This is a great podcast. First of all, the guests and topics are great and stimulating (if you have these interests, of course).
