Height of Podcasting Powers
‘Why’ my girlfriend recently asked me, ‘Do you have 15 Merguez sausages in our freezer and keep buying any cookbook that has a fattee recipe inside it?’ In answer I referred her to this pod, and as a result we’re both hooked and have found ourselves having driven over twice from West London to get a Homing Pidgin (as well has having a reservation to go there in person next month). The podcast is a banger, the fact they doubled down on it during lockdown made me very happy and has allowed me to eschew Rogan from my regular listening schedule. It’s been reassuring to have these authoritative voices in my ear lay down the law on vital food issues (yes Cacio e Pepe is overrated, parsnips are rubbish and the St John aioli recipe is insanity). Long may this continue x

Great podcast but they seem to have fizzled out. No content for over a month, a shame.

I stopped listening for a while and filled my head with Coronavirus news - utterly depressing. Now back and loving it. Cheery, chirpy, irreverent and interesting guests. Thom & Nora’s interruptions are adorable. Well done James & Sam!
