“I love Brenda’s podcast. Her tools are awesome and have helped me create weight loss. In May 2022 I was feeling good and was close to my personal goal. I had my physical in May and it felt awesome to hear my doctor say great job and you don’t need to lose another pound. I did still want to lose between 6 and 8 more pounds, but was happy to hear his words. Then I went on vacation for 2 weeks to Italy. I made the decision that I was going to eat pasta, pizza and drink wine. I had a great time and have no regrets. I definitely gained weight, but it’s slowly starting to come off. Slowly has been bothering me; summer is my weight struggle time. I enjoy eating outside and we have lots of family get togethers and I tend to have more wine which is my problem food. Today July 5th after a long weekend I was feeling discouraged by the number on the scale. My thoughts were fairly negative, I was using the tools to try to manage them but must admit the negative was pretty loud and I was frustrated that I’m “here” again and was longingly reminiscing to May when I felt so great. After listening to this podcast, I’ve been able to turn up the positive thought voice and know I will create the weight loss again and I will acclimate to this new process. I feel reinvigorated and am so thankful for Brenda’s podcast!”
