Julie, I was in recovery last year and your podcast helped me so much in getting through some of the most difficult months of my life. When I decided to finally let go, after a couple of months of pondering whether it was the right decision, and gathering the courage to actually do it, I felt alone and miserable for a while. I gained some weight and I had very low self-esteem. However, listening to you and knowing that I was not alone in this journey gave me the strength to pull through. Even now that I don't have such a conflictive relationship with food, I feel comforted by your podcast whenever I feel anxious and a lack of control over food and my body. Throughout each episode, one can tell how much of a caring and compassionate person you are and, nowadays, you don't really get that kind of genuineness often.
