I'm here for you. I'm listening. I know that life can be tough. There are always going to be challenges and obstacles in our way. But it's important to remember that you're not alone. We all go through tough times. And we all have the power to overcome them. One of the biggest challenges we face is the "should's." We all have a list of things we think we "should" be doing. We should be working harder. We should be making more money. We should be in a better relationship. We should be thinner....

In this episode I explore the parts of the Self to better understand our human condition.  How long do we sit and look at the past ? As long as it takes.  I was thinking yesterday how these last 5 months have shaped me more and I feel grateful to explore the possibilities and of being “alone”. I can’t imagine relationship hopping anymore, dragging old stuff into the new, no intention and just the mess that it creates internally. Have I done this yes? SO i feel I can speak on it now knowing...

The question keeps popping up- how do I really do this? The answer is get through those first 30 seconds of resistance. When I taught yoga, the hardest part wasn't participating in class, it was getting to class.  The same goes for meditation. The hardest part will be making yourself practice. Here I chat a little bit more about how to get to "the mat" and give you a small meditation at the end to practice awareness and staying in your body, not your head.  #meditation #howdoumeditate...

Did you know that the statistics for divorce show that 50% of all marriages end in divorce? 60 % of all second marriages end in divorce and 75% of all third marriages end in divorce.  These numbers don't include all of the dating heartbreak that happens, how it changes us and how we can heal from it.  Statistics show also that most people get back with their ex, but it's hard to identify if that really worked out or not. The most important things to do after heartbreak are to identify for...

Meditation is slow. It is the exact opposite of busy. When you meditate you are still. You are observing. You’re in a place of non-doing which means non judgement.    This episode is a little different than the others. We discuss meditation as an entrepreneur and then there is a 7 min meditation at the end to practice. Fast forward to somewhere around the 17 min mark to find it.    Theres a great quote that says “Mindfulness is to develop a capacity to shift from the small self, the...

Join me for this 15 ish min meditation on simple awareness where we focus on the senses of the body, labeling our thoughts, and practice staying in the present moment.    Awareness is a practice just like working out. All you want to do is build you mind muscle to get better at noticing your thoughts, what you are thinking, where you take your thinking.    Once we get good at awareness, we can simplify our life, create healthier habits and create a new possibility or way of being that...

She totally embraces the edgy side of life with her badass art for badass people, and she loves coffee, nature and dogs. She has been crafting and creating for as long as she can remember. For her, art is a tool for powerful self expression, whether that is joy or pain. I love how she makes these “edgier” pieces that shows that even in the tough moments in...

Today on the show, I am reminded with my mindfulness training that the only constant is change. That is the only thing I can depend upon to stay the same. Life seems easier when all is well, I am happy, things are fun, I feel good, and then when the doubt, the worry, the anxiety come in I imagine them as like a 6ft tall being thats huge and yelling at me. I came to this realization last week and wondered “why do I imagine them being so big?” . I have a secret for you. One that I hope helps...
