The creative chemistry, topics that cover everything from taco bell diarrhea to your mother and creative inspiration/hurdles in between, and interviews all make this show really fun to listen to. I look forward to hearing more! - Sergio, PDX Web/Graphic Designer

I really appreciate the improved audio quality in this new season of Jeremy Fuksa. Joy Moeller is a great interviewer and has created one of the best design podcasts.

The tone of this show is reminiscent of the self-congratulatory air of any given special interest show on NPR, but with 'swears.' Nothing about this discussion offers any real information about depression or suicide, just examples of 'bummers' by people who are doing just fine. Very gross.

Great idea for a show, fun chat and sounds great even without everyone being in the same room.

Spent a week on the toilet after my first time listening but I can’t stop coming back for more.

I've been listening to The Shakes since it was The Cocktail Napkin a few years ago. The current incarnation of the show features web design and marketing veterans Jeremy Fuska, Pat Piper and Joy Moeller. The Shakes is a show for creatives, but doesn't sound like the 87 bajillion other...Read full review »

Listen. Laugh. Imbibe. Repeat.

As a fellow gentleman of age and longtime curmudgeon, The Shakes is the perfect mix of wit, insight, crudity, and skin pouches. Pat and the other guy soothe my commute-rage on the reg (I apologize instantly for saying "on the reg") and fill my ashen-crisped hallow heart with what I can assume is...Read full review »

I looked for the AC Superbowl show this year. I found Tug McTighe on this instead. I've listened to several shows and they are terrific. It's pop culture references, inside jokes, and a sprinkle of marketing lingo spread lovingly on a crispy thin tortilla of self doubt. Sorry about the tostada...Read full review »

The best podcasts are simple conversations with interesting people. And this is one of them. Jeremy, Quinn, and Pat are clever, funny, and have lots of stories to share. The Shakes is always fun, unpredictable, and it always makes me think.

These guys make my days of toiling away at pixels a little less dreary. Great podcast!

Sometimes vague but quite interesting and fun.

A good new show that has made it's way to my weekly playlist. Keep it up.

Sometimes I like to eat sandwiches, but if a sandwich is too large, I have to eat it in several sittings. The Shakes is my giant sandwich. I listen to bits and pieces of it in-between my mid-morning snacks and mid-afternoon space-outs. Jeremy and Pat are the bread (and depending on the episode,...Read full review »

Most of the time I have no idea what you're taking about, but it's great fun.

I have NEVER heard of The Cocktail Napkin, Jeremy's previous show, but have found it quite easy to like The Shakes. This is probably because I had no expectations of this being like The Cocktail Napkin Mark II, which would probably be boring for all parties involved being a rehash of a previous...Read full review »

I am a BIG fan of The Cocktail Napkin, Jeremy's previous show, but have found it very difficult to like The Shakes. This is probably because I expected The Shakes to be more like The Cocktail Napkin Mark II, which it is not. The first three episodes were more like listening to some friends...Read full review »
