Puts me to sleep
I tried to like this, but it's really boring to listen to. The story itself is ok, but the female voice sounds like she's reading a bedside story to a child. There's no actual voice acting, the script was definitely written to be read, not narrated - no one talks like this, especially when "recording a personal log". The main character makes me picture a young, naive college girl, rather than an experienced and published writer. This dissonance adds to the lack of immersion into the story. This podcast is able to merge the supernatural, horror an immersive plot and spectacular character development. Great work by Trevor Van Winkle. It pulls you in and you don’t want the ride to stop. Storytelling at its finest:

This podcast has been on my list for a while. Started listening today and can’t get further than episode one. The host won’t stop breathing heavy into the mic and it is beyond distracting. They are also trying to use a ‘podcast’ voice and it just isn’t working.

I really wanted to like this but the voice acting is infuriatingly bad to the point it completely distracts me from the story. I got to about episode 12 and had to give up.
