Learn to think
This is my favorite skeptical podcast because it goes beyond mere skepticism and spends a lot of time showing how educated people think through problems, especially with the "Fact or Fiction" segment. They have delightful in-depth interviews, where they are not afraid to challenge fellow skeptics on their beliefs or their approach. Anyone listening to this is likely to learn something every week. The only reason I don't give it a perfect score is because sometimes, in the heat of conversation, they can fall into passing on urban legends such as the "NASA pencil myth" (check it out on Snopes), and have expressed views on Bjorn Lomborg or even Dr. Phil without actually knowing the material they are criticizing. Such excellent skeptics and thinkers such as these should know better!Read full review »

The Skeptics' Guide is truly great. Each week it gives me something to think about and discuss with my friends. The content focuses on the world of science vs. paranormal claims, and usually avoids hot topics like religion and politics (except where they intersect with science, of course). ...Read full review »
