I’ve listened to almost every episode of this podcast. I love it! The only podcast I listen to every week, religiously.

Nearly every episode is overshadowed by Lauren’s disdain for her husband. I’m not sure if he’s this awful guy she paints him to be, or if she just hates him. At times, it’s uneasy to listen too. She’s extremely judgmental and I wonder, if she’s this rude to her husband, how would she judge me?!...Read full review »

Edit to prior 5-star review: I’ve listened to this podcast for several years and have found so much value in it; however, recent episodes have been kind of sickening. The constant rants about cancel culture, the endless nasty ball jokes, and the lack of valuable takeaways has ruined it for me....Read full review »

I already listened to this podcast here and there, skipping some episodes that I just didn’t connect with, but getting excited for others specifically about health and wellness and also lifestyle. However, every guest speaking on those topics fear preaches the effects of conventional medicine and...Read full review »

Best guests of any podcast - But omg y’all are not even remotely controversial so stop with the preface Micheal. I think that the views they actually hold may be more edgy than the sugar coated ones they put out for mass consumption - what they actually say is vanilla as it gets. If you listen...Read full review »

Good other than the constant commercials. I get everyone has to make money but I have never listened to a podcast with so many….

The skinny confidential is the first podcast I ever started listening to and I never miss a single episode. I love that so many topics are talked about - there’s something for everyone. Thank you Lauryn & Michael!

I started listening to this podcast last year when I found an episode with Robert Greene. I found that episode so interesting and insightful and subscribed but as new episodes came out I would read the description & think “that doesn’t sound relevant to me or sound interesting or I don’t know...Read full review »

I’m an painter who wakes up 2 hours early every morning before work to paint and I play this podcast in the background. I feel like I’m learning so much while working at the same time. For someone who constantly preaches “bring value,” Lauryn brings no value whatsoever. Her valley girl air headedness is what made me have to stop listening. This used to be my fav bc it prided itself on having a variety of guests to which M & L we’re open 2 but now there always seems 2 b some passive aggressive / back handed way of inserting comments about vaccines/lockdowns/pandemic which are disguised/sugar coated in “having an open mind” or...Read full review »

This podcast is great for anyone who has a true interest in listening to and learning from people across a variety of fields. I do think a lot of the guests in the last few years come from a similar perspective as “natural” or “bio-hacking” or spend 2 hrs a day meditating etc so I’d love more...Read full review »

This podcast has a lot of great information from interesting people, but the conversation is immediately cheapened by Lauren trying to be funny with balls or butthole jokes. I come for the information so i wish Layrun would stop with her constant attempts at being this edgy “anti-influencer” real girl jokes because they never land, i think she’s conflating immature ball jokes with humor and its tough to have to constantly cringe. I feel like Lauryn and Michael have heard it all when it comes to skin, diet, wellness etc so they’re a little bored by their “expert” guests. The solo episodes and chats with friends are great though!

I loved this podcast when I first found it, but now I find myself cringing more and more to the point of not being able to finish an episode. As a scientist that has worked with the vaccine, I honestly don’t see how there are two sides or a debate on CDC guidelines & empirical studies, but at least have a guest on the podcast to explain the “other” side. I hate to pass judgement but although the guests and topic variety is next level, Michael and Lauren’s banter can be quite annoying and distracting. No judgement to them or their relationship, it’s just very hard to listen to and distracts from the guests and topics.

I used to love this podcast but Michael’s rants on cancel culture are getting VERY old. They somehow find a way to weave that into every conversation and it’s honestly unnecessary. Will start of by saying, I have listened to this podcast for years and gleaned so many useful tips and product recommendations from Lauryn. I truly enjoy many episodes. Such an informative podcast on all levels. Thank you for addressing the truth. I do love Lauryn and Michael together, but I also think Michael should branch out and do his own podcast. He clearly is intelligent and has a lot to say. I really enjoy hearing his opinion on different topics.

Somehow the interviews end up circling back around to the hosts. Feels so self indulgent at times. Michael comes off as a know it all mansplainer and Lauryn tries too hard to sound “intellectual”. It reads so ego centric. The guests really do make this show.
