Been listening for almost ten years and I still get excited for every episode. The best. The goat. The og of CFB pods. Love the extra perks of being a premium verballers too.

A main stay in the college football podcasting world for many years. This is by far the best college football podcast out there.
dtap56 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/22/21
Ty and Dan do such a great job. They are breaking down almost every game Mondays, previewing almost every game Wednesdays, and covering all the CFB news every episode, with not just knowledge of the game, but in a fun and entertaining manner.

My favorite college football podcast. Cover all conferences in a fair way. Best CFB podcast out there. Contains talk of lines etc. but doesn’t hit like it’s a gambling podcast. Really well balanced so that if you want to hear about the line you can. But it’s more part of a game analysis. Very fun...Read full review »

Are you tired of disembodied voices bickering in your ears? Do you feel other college football podcasts lack quality depth of flavor? Do you enjoy well timed sound effects and clever wordplay? If you answered yes to any of these questions than the Solid Verbal is for you. Dan and Ty are the...Read full review »

Super entertaining, great content, Dan and Ty doing a great job breaking down the big stories and providing the picks of the week. I highly recommend

Commercials and sponsorship reads during the podcast is one thing, but it’s gotten almost pushy that I should pay for the Patreon, buy merch, etc. Greatly enjoyed the pod for MANY years, but I hate that you guys have seemed to “sell out” as much as you have. Still love all the CFB content, though!

This is my favourite podcast. Ty and Dan are an easy listen yet still provide solid analysis of the sport. They are fun and worth checking out if you’re a college football fan.

This is my favorite podcast listen each week. Their breakdowns of the games are thorough without being overwhelming or overly dismissive of teams. They don’t assume a high horse that most sports analysts do. They just have fun, have great chemistry, and produce banger content. What more can you...Read full review »

The absolute best college football podcast. A blast during the season and guaranteed to help ease offseason boredom. Give it a listen - you won’t be disappointed!

If you love college football and appreciate a unique perspective and reliable humor, there is no better podcast. I listen to a handful of college football podcasts, but I never miss an episode of The Solid Verbal. Thanks Ty and Dan!!!

Down to Earth fellas who don’t take themselves too serious. Dan and Ty commit to the bit of genuine of great college football talk with fun goofs included. Been listening for years. This podcast is still solid 👌🏻

Love the info on the show!! Annoyed by incessant sound drops tho. Info is good enough not to need gimmicks.

The first 6 minutes of this episode were so bad that I almost had to unfollow the podcast after years and years of listening.

Terrible show now. So much gimmicks and stuff that doesn’t pertain to cfb.

As a longtime verballer, Ty and Dan are great. There is layers of entertainment regardless of the topic. Love the show!

My go to source for all things College Football! Who has time to watch the shows, browse the website or search through twitter every day to stay updated? Great explanation of all of today’s happenings!! Have been listening for 10 years, can’t imagine missing a single episode.

The fact that Ty and Dan are independent and successful in a sea of corporate podcasts is a true testament to how entertaining and insightful their show is. If you like college football, even just a little, you should listen to this show.

The Solid Verbal is the most consistent college football podcast out there. Great chemistry, funny and informative! All you need in a pod!

Like a college football conversation you overhear in a bar that you’d love to be invited to join. Funny, informative, and just an all round good thing in the world

Ty and Dan have a genuine relationship, and make the best of a national scope for college football. Always fun, even if your team loses by throwing a shoe.

Then listen to this podcast. If you don’t like CFB, fun, or you are the type that enjoys 5 hour long playoff reveal shows then you should pass.

Ty and Dan are just the best. This is where I go to get my coast to coast college football coverage. Highly recommend!

A proven QB with a strong defense. ND should be considered to be one of the most complete teams in the country this year and a legitimate national title contender. I also don’t think it should be considered a hot take in saying that ND will be a favorite in every game(week of) they play this...Read full review »

As entertainment, the show works very well with quirky Dan and straight laced Ty. The football content always seems a mile wide and an inch deep. I think Dan’s career would be better served elsewhere beyond sportscasting. But, I suppose it’s his “passion”. If you follow the sport and watch the...Read full review »

Overall, it’s really good. Dan knows as much about college football as just about anyone. The guy does his research and, for a fan, is extremely knowledgeable. I would say that Ty is very likable, but a casual fan who repeats most popular/conventional opinions. You can tell that Dan is glued to...Read full review »

Still a great all around CFB podcast with a bit of nonsense mixed in. I will say that I find Dan's disdain for the CFP somewhat annoying. Also a little annoying that started a Patreon and moved some of the previously free content behind there. Overally still very entertaining though.Read full review »

Good podcast but they care about the same top 10/12 teams. You won’t hear your team name if it falls beyond that.

This is a unique and fantastic pod about college football but it’s more than that. If you’re turned off by a podcast speaking negatively about Notre Dame for less than one show (Heaven forbid) or can’t live without know-it-all hosts, then this is NOT your pod. If you’re looking for an...Read full review »

When it comes to college basketball they are both clueless. First off Ty stating the play in games start Tuesday, regular tournament on Thursday. Not this year genius! Great banter. Cool dudes. Great sound. Good pace. I have zero complaints. These guys could do a podcast about knitting and I would probably like it. I think I just genuinely like these guys. Thanks for all your sacrifices!!

Used to listen pretty consistently a few years ago. The last few seasons have been kind of bad. Ty is fine but Dan is annoying and disrupts the show constantly. There’s much better shows out there.
Erection killer via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/22/20
Generally I like this show quite a bit but Dan took on a weird personal, and derisive vendetta against Notre Dame this week that was disappointing, nonsensical, and embarrassing. I think I’m done with this podcast after the utter lack of maturity

Fighting through constant self-promotion, tired old bits, new bits falling flat and Dan’s exhausting amusement in...Dan, it’s become a looong listen. If you have 12+ hours of weekly cfb podcasting inventory, consider keeping them in your rotation.
