Finally a mom podcast for women of color!!!
I never review podcasts but I felt the urge to review this one! When I first had my son, who’s now 2 1/2, I started listening to other mom podcasts but quickly realized they weren’t relatable to me as a mom of color. We have different cultural factors that no one else can relate to and we come from different socioeconomic backgrounds, yet we can put things into perspective even despite our differences because we all ultimately face similar challenges as black women. I just heard about The Suga podcast on Luvvie’s Rants & Randomness and decided to give it a shot. Well, I am so happy I did. FINALLY, a podcast for brown mama’s! I’m excited to subscribe and can not wait for future episodes!
