Inconsistent and slapdash
The Talk Show at 5by5 was one of the highlights of my week. This iteration is but a shadow of its former self. Sure it's only the first episode but Gruber seems entirely out of his depth without his former wingman, Dan Benjamin. Secondary to the content, this is not 'The Talk Show' and should not be entitled as such. I'll be giving the next episode a listen but if after that things haven't improved, it's over for me. Plus, Mule and it's backer make me a little uncomfortable, which doesn't help Gruber's cause for me, and for many others, it would seem. Patching up their differences is the best they could do. That won't happen though.Read full review »
