Your discussions are sooo good. I’ve heard this series has been cancelled and this show is just so compelling and great that it just doesn’t need to end. Any chances this can be saved?? Thank You for your excellent work. Paul

Ok
Some of these reviews are shockingly misogynistic but to a point I agree I was hoping for more in depth analysis. That’s the downside of hbo hiring some people to make a podcast instead of it being fans.

I can't be believe HBO endorsed this garbage as the "Official" Nevers Podcast (I wish I could give it 1/2 star). The hosts are giggly and do not provide any incite into the program. How many can they say they enjoy the actors? There is no disccusion of this fictional Edwardian period....Read full review »

The Nevers is a very complex series. Unfortunately the hosts of this podcast don’t discuss the complexity, but instead recap some of the episode and gushingly interview the actors. No discussion of the intellectual interconnected plot points or the logic behind the science fiction upon which the...Read full review »

If you are gong to host an official podcast for a show on HBO and you have the brain the size f a walnut maybe you should take notes or rewatch the episode at least twice before broadcasting your thoughts. I can’t believe how clueless everyone seems to be about each episode. I really tried...Read full review »

They never discuss ANYTHING other than how much they like the actors they are interviewing. Basically they sit around for 20 mins and gush over how excited they are to interview the show actors, then ask them corny, prefabricated talking point questions, and then gush some more about how excited...Read full review »

I love the show and came to the podcast to get a more in depth look into the episodes. I was hoping to get more details that I may have missed or some insight that would explain why some things happened. I love that the characters are included in the podcast but it feels more like an interview...Read full review »

Incoherent interviews and completely annoying to listen to. This show deserves better and has more potential than the cast of this podcast.

I became a fan of TV show podcasts after listening to David Chen and Joanna Robinson’s, “Decoding WestWorld.” It was clear and extremely enjoyable for the listener to hear just how much work they put into researching behind the scenes of a very complicated show like WestWorld. I guess it’s an...Read full review »

I agree this podcast is difficult too listen to. However I found them on YouTube where you can “see” them speaking to each other and guests and it’s much better that way. I like how they show clips from the show when they are referring to certain scenes. The unofficial the never podcast has...Read full review »

Agree with the reviews that call this “vapid.” What a wasted opportunity! This show has such strong female characters but this podcast is so dull and amateur. Can’t believe it’s HBO-endorsed. I’m obsessed with this show, and it’s so fun to dig a little deeper and hear others thoughts on it, as well as interviews with the cast! Thank you, I’m enjoying the cast interviews. If you are a fan of the show this is a fast way to give you a quick overview of each episode. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. After listening to four podcast Im enjoying the simplicity of this podcast and the great cast interviews.

Who hired these hosts? Vapid, irritating, shallow commentary. I’ve loved HBO’s accompanying podcasts to their others shows (Chernobyl is a standout) but this one isn’t up to par. The cast interviews are the only worthwhile part of this podcast, mainly because the hosts don’t interject too much. ...Read full review »

I do like the show and the podcast. It is very nice to listen to the commentary. I do learn things when I listen, especially after I watch the episode right before. Keep up the good work ;-)

I’ve been listening from the first podcast, from which it sounded like one of the podcasters sounded like she was just waking up and rolled out of bed. And this latest one when they didn’t make the connection of the character’s name “Nimble Jack” and the nursery rhyme Jack Be Nimble. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Come...Read full review »

Interviews are great but the hosts do not dwells deep into the topics or plot of the show. Would love more talks about character development and how these characters weave together and what the theme possibly could be

This is like dropping into a conversation with friends. Light, easy, opens up new perspectives I hadn’t considered. Lots of reviews objecting to the ladies using their lady voices to express opinions. Must be hard for them to take a break from the Joe Rogan podcast. Oh well

As an ‘official’ fan cast it feels deliberately hampered. Treating obviously stated elements as mysteries or missing them entirely. Ignoring pretty directly shown elements as absent. Seeing a lot of terrible (borderline misogynist) reviews, so I wanted to share my opinions to provide some more diverse perspectives. I’m genuinely surprised that HBO recommends this podcast at the end of each episode. So far, the only reason to listen to this podcast is the interview content with the cast. Other than that feature, the podcast needs to "turn" into something more intelligent and much less inane. I'm not sure the two hosts (and guest hosts) have the skills to do that.Read full review »

The people hosting this podcast are completely horrible which is quite disappointing since the show is so interesting. They sound like a bunch of juveniles and very little substance on the show and the giggling is ridiculous.

If you’re looking to dive deeper into this exciting new show with a smart and insightful podcast, then look elsewhere. I already love this show, and was looking forward to these podcasts. One of the hosts’ sinuses were completely blocked and her nasally sound was really distracting. I hate to say this, but we will all be dumber for having listened to this episode of the podcast. It is nothing short of putrid and painful - the polar opposite of the show’s intriguing premiere.
