Not in the same class as TWiM or TWiT
I tried this podcast but like some others here I found the discussion to be very superficial. Justin is not very useful on this podcast and really represents some sort of cliched "california ditz" to act as a sad sort of comic relief. It is irritatingly like a morning radio show...gah! His intellectual depth was truly revealed in his pathetic mis-understanding of the problems of population growth and the impact on the global ecosystem. Kirsten has some potential but comes across as a very smart person who is deliberately suppressing her actual intellect in order to be accepted by a bunch of people at a party who never got past high school. They go into just the right amount of detail for casual science enthusiasts, and keep the inane chatter to a minimum. Justin's humor keeps things entertaining, while Kirsten keeps up the intellectual side of the show. I'm a new but devoted listener.Read full review »
