Great podcast to listen to. The wee humorous comments thrown in make me chuckle. I like hearing the psychological and personality side of the cases. My new favourite podcast to listen to.

I love this subject matter, but the host is really emotionless in his telling of it. Flat. There are more entertaining podcasts out there that deal with true crime. Sorry. Just doesn’t hole my attention, even though I love the topic.

I enjoyed and appreciated this poscast at the beginning when the podcaster stuck to his field of expertise. The commentary analyzing offender behavior in light of diagnostic criteria for various conditions and disorders was quite interesting and enlightening. However, the longer I listened the...Read full review »

I really like this podcast. However, I gave it a low rating because of the “extra” podcast at the end. I don’t know why I can’t fast forward through content I have absolutely no interest in.

Why do people with no delivery skills, little apparent expertise and zero sense of humour decide to make podcasts? Will never understand.

Please stop spamming other shows with ads for this one…hosts voice is very weasel-like and disturbing

This 5-star rating is given for the Kirsten Lobato episode, which was particularly well done. The host’s puns and alliterative summaries are the best (and only?) in the true crime business and are much appreciated by this listener.

As a psychology professor, I have a special interest in these stories and Todd’s analyses. I love the little sarcasm bombs and puns he mixes in from time to time. His deadpan delivery makes them even funnier.

Raina Thaiday episode is extremely ignorant of the culture and system Raina Thaiday was grappling with. To imply she was responsible because she did not seek help at her first symptoms is extremely presumptuous and shows a lack of understanding when it came to the culture of the woman and the...Read full review »

In the Joe Campbell episode you had a man illegally trespassing on another man’s land… multiple times. The trespasser has been warned, threatened, and yet still refuses to stay off the property going so far as to pull out bolt cutters to break in. The hosts blames the property owner. The host...Read full review »

Having read the "about" section of the podcast called, I was excited about a somewhat different approach in the true crime genre. however, now that I've listen to several episodes, I can't say I've heard anything that remotely resembles what the "about"section...Read full review »

Dr. Grande’s podcasts are not the type I normally go for but I like them! Many of them I (in the UK) have never heard of but they’re interesting; some are known worldwide. They are very short but succinct and get to the core details very well. His analysis is sharp and dry. His wordplay is is fun...Read full review »

I love this podcast. I’m so glad you changed that spooky music at the beginning. It was super weird and incongruous with the “scientific perspective” tag line.
Stefncx via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/11/23
Uses bad jokes to shame the guilty. No scientific perspective used in this podcast.

Midlife crisis. Recent empty nester. No-where job. Extremely short. Miserable angry man. Probably spent free time staring at porn. The internet has a powerful impact on the psyches and the gates of evil are too much for men to resist. The bullet, the gun, the voice, his image on the bridge. All...Read full review »

If you’re looking for an unbiased source of info… Dr Todd Grande absolutely delivers. He’s not a rambler or annoying, like other podcast. Straight and to the point…. He will not disappoint!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Totally didn’t mean to rhyme, that last line. 😂

Very short snap shots of true crime cases. There isn’t much analysis or synthesis, but that’s probably a good thing, because Todd isn’t a qualified psychologist. Note that he is careful to say he has a PhD in counselling education. That is because only qualified psychologists are allowed to use...Read full review »

I heard him out, listened to different topic episodes and his regurgitation of psychology (psychology to include all topics on this podcast), was impressive in his delivery style of orating but he is shallow when it comes to the spiritual part of the human being. Trucker Candice via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 01/04/22
Uninformed and not well researched. It’s like the host does a 10 minute Google search so he can offer a poorly delivered and not well thought out opinion that’s isn’t based on actual psychology.
EllyHB via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/28/21
I hear enough of people’s negativity on social media. Then can’t get through two episodes of this podcast without hearing whining things in the news. Extremely unprofessional from someone who claims to be a “professional”. Skip this - there are tons of other podcasts like this to choose from.

I was really enjoying this till I got to Allen v Farrow. I felt he really missed the mark on this . I encourage everyone to listen to Real Crime Profile Allen v Farrow and you will walk away with a different opinion and it is broken down in great detail.

This guy really thinks he’s clever and funny but he’s really not. His jokes make me cringe. He’s very monotone, but the psychology is interesting and educational.
