Essential for all ‘Beatle heads’
A stunning level of attention to detail. I feel this podcast will readdress the balance between the gloomy Let it Be cinematic edit and Doug Sulphy’s essential but downbeat book with ( what I fear will be) a sugar coated Disney version of events …Nick tells it like it is (or was) . Love his musical analysis and demos of the chord structures etc. of the songs rehearsed and the background and interpretation of the meaning behind the conversations… And we’re only up to day 3 ! Bravo Nick on a great piece of work and an obvious labour of love…

Absolutely love this pod. It’s a deep and detailed insight into the Twickenham sessions and the context of the sessions. As a Beatles obsessive I learned so much more and it challenged my received wisdom. Absolute quality ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Probably not for the casual fan, but a must for everyone else. Phenomenal attention to detail and really brings these sessions to life . Can’t wait for the next one . Thanks Nick Kev

Fantastic forensic look at this period of the Beatles history where they expected the magic to happen straight away and it didn’t. Would be 5 stars for me if the music beds were dropped or reduced in volume. They are unnecessary and it is difficult to hear the narrator sometimes.
