The ancients would be proud!
I drive from Connecticut to Rhode Island every day. My commute keeps me in the car over 3hrs each day... and so I'm always looking for interesting Podcasts to listen to. "A History of Europe, Key Battles" has become one of my favorites. Each episode is well researched, with the context of the battle being established within the moment; the personalities of the combatants explained; and the drama of the military contest described with great detail. Weaving thru time, I'm so excited to see which battles follow the other. Quite enjoyable for history buffs, military history geeks (like me!), and fans of well done podcasts. Thanks for all the hard work! Happy holidays!Read full review »

More reviews of A History of Europe, Key Battles
I enjoy listening to the History of Europe Key battles when I am walking, running or flying on an airplane. It is no nonsense, neutral history. A touch more humor or charm may give it a fifth star. But is still very good.

Political, economic and cultural story that uses key battles to move the narrative temporally and geographically. I'm learning a lot.Read full review »
