“The host, BA’s editor in chief, consistently makes his own perspective (apportioning credit among writers, thumbs up-down opinions) the center of this, interrupting and undercutting the guests, who I kept wanting to ... hear about cooking from. The Basically Baking episode was the last straw—it’s unlistenable, and I feel so bad for the cook. I listen to a lot of cooking podcasts, and I wish this good magazine would find a different employee to run the podcast.”
