A major turning point
I’m a 40-something-year-old woman who has struggled with disordered eating for over 20 years. I had given up hope on ever breaking free from the destructive patterns that ruled my life for so long. Even though on the outside I have been able to look like somebody who doesn’t have to worry about weight, the double- edged sword of restrictive dieting and bingeing has constantly been a source of pain, shame, and frustration in my life. Then I happened upon Katherine’s book and subsequently this podcast. The information and knowledge that Katherine shares has allowed me to a make simple but effective changes in the way I think about bulimia and binge eating. I literally feel free for the first time in many many years.
