Life-changing. Hope-giving. If you follow these principles and take them to heart, it will change your life! So grateful I found this podcast and her book.

«You are not broken», says Kathryn Hansen. And she is right. Kathryn has done more for my physical and mental health with her podcast and books than years of (failed) therapy! My binge eating has improved so much (sadly not totally there yet, but I have struggled for 45 years), and I am so...Read full review »

I didn’t make it past 3 episodes! The answer to binge eating is to just stop binge eating?? Wow! I wonder why I didn’t think of that all those times when I’m shaming myself after a binge! I should have just told myself to stop! Duh! Are these women for real? If it was that easy, don’t you think...Read full review »

I really wanted to like this podcast but it’s hard to accept what the hosts are saying knowing there isn’t any scientific background. It also gives the vibe of “if you want to recover bad enough you’ll just stop doing it” which is completely not true. I also wish it included a host that’s...Read full review »

I’m 24, and have struggled with anorexia for 3 years, and then binge eating for 3 years. This podcast was recommended by a YouTube I used to watch - and I swear it changed my life, and I haven’t struggled with binging since 2020. Thank you so much Kathryn, honestly, your podcast has saved my life!

In episode 110 + 109, the exploration/explanation of how the brain responds to behaviors/beliefs captures the essence of many of our fractured thoughts. Thank you, Kathryn, for making it easier to understand, so we don’t have to punish ourselves!💖

UPDATE: This update is five months later—I am 3 months binge free and I am now experiencing success with dismissing urges to binge, for the first time in 50 years. It is freeing! I first heard of this podcast six months ago, from Heather Robertson on the Half Size Me podcast and listened to an...Read full review »

I’ve loved listening to Kathryn and her guests. So much great information and strategies to change a lifetime of restricting and binging/purging. It feels like such a relief to realise there’s not some deep psychological reason I binge, but that my constant dieting (for 40yrs) has set my brain to...Read full review »

After each listen, Im left wanting more. Very informative, straight to the point and easy to listen to. I really enjoyed this podcast. Highly recommend for people who may not binge eat but want a healthier relationship with food. Thank you!

I enjoy this podcast but the host talks like a robot and it seems very ingenuine sometimes. Her guests are great and talk normal and don’t sound like they’re trying to be perfect or sound like a robot

Oh man! You mean the way I can get over my binge eating disorder is simply to resist the urge to binge? WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT?! If it was that easy and simple, you would think that nobody would have a binge eating problem.

Thank you Katherine for finally making it click for me! I’ve known I had a binge problem for about 6-9 months and I’ve been struggling to conquer it through food rules. What I did not realize was that my binging was self inflicted by DIETING. your emphasis on the two steps of resisting urges to...Read full review »

A thoughtful and inspiring podcast. Kathryn explains everything so clearly. Such a relief that this is not another diet podcast but rather a how to think podcast …and of course how to stop the binge.

I can’t believe it. Its only been 3 days, but it’s the first time I let myself eat without worrying about carbs, calories, losing weight, etc. I ate because I was hungry. I was so excited and then I listened to “component 5”. I listen in the morning with my coffee. So far so good!!!

Listen to three episodes. They talked about where they were and how their feelings have changed since then and their progress. But there has been no real help that I’ve heard. They want you to buy their monthly subscription.

I heard about the brain over binge book on another podcast and decided to buy it as I was lost in a sea of weight gain and diets. I honestly can’t tell you how lucky I feel to have stumbled across this. Within days my old reality changed. I was at one of my lowest points, binging twice a day, every day. I love this podcast and Kathryn but Fernanda is so unbearable She speaks in a way that is super hypothetical and almost patronizing of others struggling with our disorder I feel she is super preachy and not practical or helpful for most people

Kathryn is very gifted and generous. The podcast is easy to listen to because she’s organized, articulate and has a naturally good speaking voice. The healthy, clear minded approaches discussed with her guests are an extension of her book with expanded views: smart, easy listens and so so helpful.

I’m enjoying these podcasts. They support my goal to eat better and ultimately get to my comfortable weight. There is some good, practical advice in here, but be aware that neither Hansen nor Rosenblum have any background in psychology. This can be especially dangerous in the way that it dismisses therapy as “useless”. Sure, you can use some of these ideas before you completely “fix” yourself, but...Read full review »

Tried to listen few episodes and they were so shallow - all based on the presenter and guest’s experiences... i was waiting for the science behind topics, particularly intermittent fasting and got nothing. Maybe the guest was not great, but I don’t think this is reliable at all, unfortunately
