Love his wisdom, but socialism and oppressiveness is NOT acceptable nor wanted. It has no place in a mindfulness and awareness practice. Or life for that matter. EVER.

Just listened to my first episode and it’s all substance, and no filler. Part science, part spiritual. And maybe brain loved it. I think this is my sign to get more tattoos too.

Spiritual teacher and counselor who is trustworthy, kind and knowledgeable. I appreciate how intelligently he teaches at the intersection of spirituality and psychology and provides practical meditations for staying grounded in the real world.

You gently and accessibly introduce both the latest neuropsychology (no pressure on you to stay informed!) and age-old Buddhist wisdom. I am a contemplative elder Catholic with complex PTSD (newly recognized) and benefit from your free-range selection of topics. It doesn’t bother me when you put...Read full review »

I get so much out of every episode. But I am disappointed when he gets political and pushes for communism/socialism….an incredibly oppressive form of government that crushes everyone except the elite powerful ones who run it.

Really enjoying this podcast, and in fact it is my new favorite buddhism podcast. But please for the love of god, keep the politics out of it. No matter where you fall politically, it seems impossible to escape. Thank you!!!!

Excellent combination of how humans (dis)function and means of working with that for greater inner wellbeing.

Josh Korda gets it. He is the real deal. Just by listening to his podcasts, I felt like he understood my struggles like no other therapist or healer has. I’m listening regularly to Dharma Punx NYC for several years, I can say that it is the single most transformative type of self-help I’ve ever...Read full review »

Love this guy, he delivers a fresh fusion of psychology and Buddhism in a grounded and relatable manner. His voice is relaxing too, the guided meditations at the end of the talk are lovely.... a gem. EDIT: been a little disappointed at his partisan approach to politics, he evidently leans left,...Read full review »

Thanks for your valuable time. You have a way of getting right to the point but in a compassionate manner. Took me a while to digest and sit with but I am understanding myself better. If and when I have the money to contribute I will. Well worth it. Mahalo. 🙏

This podcast is the best resource I’ve encountered in outlining truly applied Buddhism and how grounded Buddhist practice intersects with modern psychological insights into living a balanced, authentic, and rewarding life. I’ve often found Zen and other Buddhist philosophies difficult to...Read full review »

Josh has fundamentally changed my life with this podcast. Over the past 4 years, I’ve used it as a resource alongside my EMDR trauma therapy. It’s the perfect balance between information and experience. Utilize this, share it with your loved ones, and donate to josh if you can!

I’m really glad I found this. Very practical and secular way for exploring Buddhism. I found this much more effective than the 12 Steps as a path of recovery.

Josh Korda provides Buddhist teachings alongside modern day psychology - a powerful combination.

Enjoyable mixture of the dharma and psychology in a how to approach to living in this world and with our reactive conceptual mind. Very humorous and frankly spoken from someone who has been there too. You have nothing to lose and it’s FREE anyway. Rick

I’m a nichiren Buddhist now but was practising Buddhism in traditional form for years. I love how he bounces from cutting edge neurology to evolutionary psychology and how and what Buddhism has to say about each topic. Absolutely fascinating. Have been listening every night. I love these podcasts. But dude, what’s with the background noise? The latest meditation related to attachment sounded like someone was banging pots and packing a suitcase right into the microphone.

Josh has a really great approach. It’s wholistic in that he grounds his talks in modern life situations, offers ancient contemplative tools to deal with them skillfully, and then explains the neuro-biological mechanics of how and why they are effective. I teach mindfulness in Europe, and turn to...Read full review »
