“I found that the women hosting 'dishing up nutrition' presented inaccurate information regarding vegan nutrition. A caller asked about how to get enough protein on a vegan diet, and was told that it was not possible, and that the caller should eat whey protein. The nutritionist also stated that one cup of beans has one gram of protein. This information is incredibly false, and I wish they would strive to give more accurate information, even if it is not in accordance with how they eat in their personal lives. They promote animal foods consistently, and although animal foods can be part of a healthy diet, it may be helpful for they to give information on other healthy sources of fat, calcium, etc.”Read full review »
