“I just started Noom and wanted to get some user feedback to help get a full picture of the app and stumbled on this episode. I expected the podcaster to have done the free trial at least so she is knowledgable on how the app performs currently. Instead she had a client of hers that used Noom years ago talk about her negative experience and the host validated the outdated bias to draw conclusions. I think there are good and bad in most programs out there and I found this podcast to be a host and user confirming each others bias using outdated information- which is useless and does not demonstrate thoughtful holistic approach to the subject.
I am new to Noom so I am saving my conclusion to at least 6 weeks before I figure out if it is right for me, but I can say that it has definitely changed significantly from what the guest described.
I value podcasts that share experiences with factual information and give the listener the respect to make up their own mind. Having an already biased host bring on a client to confirm negative views is disappointing and will not inspire me to put this podcast on my playlist.”
