Hello wonderful human and thank you for being here! Today we look at the myths surrounding feelings and emotions and what another perspective is on this topic. I discuss my personal experience with learning to have greater intimacy with my own emotions for myself and as a parent! I explain why emotions and feelings are a positive and empowering thing. I will finish with an embodied guided practice to drop in to your inner space and invite you to notice the power of your feelings and sensations and emotions. - Myths about emotions, my journey of being emotionally numb through to becoming a parent and reconnecting with my feelings - Emotions and parenting , being an emotional container and emotions and the link with behavior. -Validating and witnessing emotions and how you can do this -Myths around emotions being inconvenient, weak, chaotic, irrational and not part of good decision making -Truth about how feelings are the gateway to your inner truth and authentic expression , liberation and freedom - Feelings themselves are not bad they are all needed and welcome but there is still a difference in the feeling and how you express that feeling - If feelings are not processed they become frozen tension in the body and nervous system - Embodied meditation drop in, feeling and sensing emotions in the body. - Embodiment essentially inhabiting your body and being fully allowing you to be the most sincere version of yourself - Embodiment is a spectrum that we are all on of feeling less or more embodied or disembodied - Embodiment is a way to naturally heal and unwind frozen tension from the body and nervous system - Embodiment is empowered healing towards wholeness - Increasing our capacity to experience life fully through sensation and feeling - release frozen tension and meet feeling to harness your power Join My : Back To The Body Membership : Embark on a monthly journey of embodiment practices with Elly, where you’ll reconnect with your body and tap into your profound inner awareness and wisdom.
