New Zealand athlete and corporate professional Georgie Grgec joins the podcast to talk through her running journey which has recently landed her a top 50 at the world cross country championships and a 15.20 5000m. Georgie shares her experience of junior success out in New Zealand and how her struggles with injuries led her to leave the sport. She then talks through how she found her way back to running, had a light bulb moment around RED-S, and has built back stronger each year. And all whilst working a full time job. Georgie shares her thoughts around and experience of both working full time and being an athlete. Hence, Georgie shares how she balances the two and fits training in around ridged working hours. Georgie is a very talented athlete and she shares some of her aspirations for the future.
