Rising Star
As a close friend of Jennifer, I fully and freely admit to being somewhat biased. That said, this is a solid first episode in her budding career as a holistic coach for women from all walks of life. While the episode specifically addresses eating disorders and women's relationships with food, it can truly apply to any kind of addiction or unhealthy attachment. Elisabeth explores in depth the cycles of eating disorders, whether as a result of trauma or poor habits developed during childhood, and perpetuated by the continued marketing of addictive and highly-processed foods. This is a powerful episode that I believe will resonate with countless listeners. In 50 minutes, I was able to identify sources of inadequacy that affect my outlook on life. If this is the beginning, then I think we're looking at a phenomenal future for this podcast. Jennifer and Elisabeth are doing miraculous work that will revolutionize the way women--and the world-- see themselves. They will be empowered and unashamed to be themselves exactly as they were meant to be. God bless you both.Read full review »
