Thanks
I only started listening a few months ago and now an avid fan (and patreon). I had bilateral ankle surgery before Christmas to keep my aging body going and had to spend many many hours out on the bike. This podcast and catching up on the last years episodes kept my going during these long hard training hours, and drove me harder to achieve a cycling goal which I reached at Threepeaks Falls Creek on Sunday, a time I never thought possible. You have also reminded me of my love of running and reinforced to me that taking the risk of having surgery to get back running is the right decision. Now I’ve ticked the cycling box and as my ankles heal and I cannot wait to get back running as I will strive for another marathon PB despite the odds. It will happen and I’ll love listening to you lads along the journey. Sometimes small things DO make a difference in people’s lives, your little contribution definitely has in mine. Thanks
