Learning more about yoga
I don't know where I discovered JBrown, I think through a yoga search that led me to his website, and the phrase Life Hurts, This Helps touched me. I have been listening to his podcasts, and I recommend them to anyone who wants to learn more about yoga and meet/listen to other practicitioners. The last one, with Ann Votaw, touched me deeply and I cried on the subway. I also got teary on the subway when he ended his talk with Leslie Kamoff (sp??) when JBrown talked about his experience teaching yoga to 16 year old teenagers. He has such a warmth and openness to him, and he is sensitive to the people he talks to. One of these days I will to to his studio, even though I live on the other side of Brooklyn. Thank you JBrown for putting out these podcasts. It is appreciated.Read full review »

All of J. Brown’s podcasts are great, but his latest one with Erich Schiffmann is even greater than usual. Listen! You will learn something.
