“I never ran in my life and started the program aged 54 . Brilliant . Laura very encouraging and supportive . I always believed I wasn’t able to run as wasn’t particularly athletic . I decided after Xmas that I’d challenge myself . I heard an excellent review re the benefits of running - so many it’s unbelievable . Helps with anxiety, problem solving, improves well being and happiness . If I’d known all of this I’d have commenced years ago . I can concur with all the benefits - I feel more confident and happy . I’ve lost weight by and have not changed my diet . I’ve encouraged two sisters to take the challenge and are both now on the program . It’s such a positive thing to do and the sense of achievement is fantastic . I can run 30 minutes now and cannot believe it . It’s a fantastic podcast with additional help available . Well done to NHS . I feel my life has changed positively and I am much happier . Just do it - you won’t be disappointed .
