Practical real life advice
I have listened to a couple of Rachel's podcasts and they are fantastic. It's refreshing to not have to define yourself in a particular way and instead focus on what you are trying to achieve for yourself. Rachel gives practical strategies to achieve your goals, super interesting historical context to why society thinks about drinking the way they do, and lots of encouragement. I love that she is willing to share her own experiences and struggles as she helps you navigate whatever ambitions you have with respect to drinking or any other habit you want to change.Read full review »

I like the way Rachel looks at drinking from a perspective that I can totally relate to. We all have our own reasons for drinking and it's valuable to look at what those are. This is a very freeing and gracious approach to any habit we are trying to change. I completely agree that these are unhealthy habits rather than black and white addiction issues.
