The best sleep information and advice
I loved Matt Walker’s best selling book Why We Sleep and the podcast offers excellent bite-sized information. I’ve listened to many interviews he has given on other health professionals’s podcasts and he is always worth a listen. I can’t recommend his book highly enough and for a potted version of up to the minute insights into the subject of sleep, these podcasts are invaluable. As with the book, he has a pithy, delightfully engaging style and makes the science fascinating and also easily accessible to the lay person.

Can you please cover sleep Aids & quality of sleep? Is it better to take something to sleep or no sleep at all? As soon as I lay down to sleep, I get heart palpitations & my mind starts racing. I just can’t shut it down. In order to fall asleep, I take my anxiety medication. Thank you!
