The podcast is a great companion to Dr. Matt Walkers book “WHY WE SLEEP” which I am currently also reading. Really loving both. Recommending both for sure. Especially, the first episodes are great at providing the essence of the book. Thank you so much for providing so much information about...Read full review »

I had read Dr Walker’s book a couple of years ago (excellent!) and was happy to find out about this podcast. It’s a great complement to the book and brings additional and updated information. He sometimes apologizes for his “personality”, which is completely unnecessary…his idiosyncratic style...Read full review »

I love this podcast especially as one who struggles with sleep. I felt both vindicated and relieved by the series on chronotypes because I have tried and failed many times to shift my night owl sleep schedule. And the host is charmingly kind and self-effacing. I appreciate his reassurances of no...Read full review »

A sleep scientist recommended Matt’s book to me some years back, and I’ve been learning about sleep on and off ever since. Matt is an excellent communicator of sleep science, and I enjoy listening to this podcast when I need a reminder that it’s okay to prioritize my sleep. In terms of future...Read full review »

Excellent information in an easy to listen format and length, have often listened to parts 1, 2 and 3 together but good to have them separate for short car journeys etc. Appreciate the need for the adverts to support the podcast and get the information out there.

Small time investment for such terrific information that you’re not going to get anywhere else. I would love to know how to stop taking Ambien and get a good nights sleep. i’ve been taking it for a long time but I’m just finding out about the terrible effects of it.
