30+ 5-star reviews and one 1-star review. You do the math. Almost as if that one guy has some sort of very small axe to grind. Anyway, it's a fun show about food and food-adjacent stuff, and after a while, you almost forget that John is a Ginger. The goblin voice will haunt you forever, though.Read full review »

John is in no way holding my old bay hot sauce hostage until I write him a 5 star review. Listen to this podcast and don’t put ketchup on hot dogs.

You’ll love this podcast as much as I do. Grab a beer, sit back, relax, and enjoy!

I love the way episodes mix up between focusing on a dish, an ingredient, a culinary tradition, a person or other critical topics (like the state of the culinary world in the covid age). John and Rebecca do deep dives that are interesting while also not getting too fixated and peppering in...Read full review »

Do these two even know anything about food & drink at all?? I listened to 1 episode of their mindless dribble and the only way I can describe it is akin to witnessing a fiery train crash, you hate it and feel like you should move on,but can’t look away... so unintelligent it’ll will make you...Read full review »

I finally got an iPhone again & figured out how to leave a review because I’m secretly a 79 year old garbage human. This podcast is the best & if you don’t like it, well then you’re just wrong.

This podcast has taught me so much about food that I’d have been too intimidated to find out on my own! The energy is great and the vibe is right. A+ work and *chef’s kiss*

I have never been more inspired to cook dinner! I used to hate cooking until I started listening to this podcast on my drive to the grocery store. Now I'm laughing and pumped when I get through the front door! For reals though, even if you are not a chef or good at cooking, they give some...Read full review »

These two are “good Baltimore”: as knowledgeable about gas station food as fancy dry meat aging lockers. It’s that quirkiness but thirst for knowledge— if that’s not too bad a pun— that makes them cool.

I love hearing about this show. I love the fact where you can share your opinions about different restaurants or types of foods. John and Rebecca make Althea shoe very interesting to listen too.

Rouxde has a great vibe and civets stuff that most other well known podcasts don’t. Plus they have a thriving online community where they engage with their followers. John and Rebecca make everyone feel as if they are a part of the cast.

This is the best cooking podcast around, not only for the food talk but for the humor. These two have taught me who are monsters as well.

Love these two! They have a great rapport and a natural style of delivering both humor and detailed information on cooking and food. Hilariously down to earth and entertaining-keep up the good work!

Fantastic podcast! I enjoy learning about food in a casual way and John and Rebecca make it really approachable to the lay cook. Sometimes John’s Dad jokes can be cringeworthy but Rebecca always holds it down and calls him out which I appreciate. Overall - great pod. I recommend it!

Actually, John is quite knowledgeable for a dude who has a day job and presents each topic in an extremely entertaining way. Rebecca's humorous interjections add levity against John's vulgarities. Kidding. I always look forward to listening to each episode!!Read full review »

These guys are right up my ally. They talk about food and recipes. And their banter is of a high caliber. If you like to explore the way we approach food, cooking and like the occasional crude joke, then check these guys out.

Wonderful podcast. Feels like these two are in my kitchen drinking beers with me while I learn about food. The hosts John and Rebecca have a rouxde (pronounced rude) chemistry which causes all sorts of banter resulting in a playful but intelligent conversation. I am hooked!

Awesome chemistry between the hosts, some very funny moments. Sound quality is excellent for a brand new podcast. The core premise of the show, to inspire you to cook, is a solid one.
