The patriarchy is alive and well here. Run away.
As a woman in my 40s with a professional life I gave this podcast a genuine try, but they lost me on the episodes about what to wear and what not to wear.... "age-appropriate" blah blah blah. It's deeply disturbing to see women acting like Stepford wives - upholding all of the things that keep us down. What kind of world would it be if everybody followed all of this canned advice? This is a variation of the 1950s messages women were given about how we should and shouldn't be after women had made great strides into the workplace postwar. How disappointing, how narrow, how tired and cliché- but worse, how dangerous. Never going to listen to another episode again.Read full review »

I really enjoy listening to these fun, entertaining and informative posdcasts. I love that most are 20-30 min, just enough time to get involved but not too big a chunk out of your day. A wide range of topics and looking forward to hearing the latest episodes.
