Painful when straying from sport science
The latest series of episodes are painful biochemistry lectures that the host spends reminding you how smart he is and how’s he’s dumbing it down as best as he can for us. It’s not necessary and comes across as pompous. The concepts are simple and he’s basically regurgitating the material straight from a textbook anyway. Stick to sports science and leave the biochem to biochemists.

Great podcasts for cyclists, especially if you like to understand and you’re a geek about what happens in your body as you push the pedals. If not there are also episodes that are focused on training takeaways.

Unfortunately I found the latest podcast to be ageist. I’ll check in again when the podcaster reaches 60 years old…then see how they feel. I know plenty of people still riding strong (even some racing) into their 70s! Also, the podcaster could curtail the use of the f-word to keep the “clean”...Read full review »
