I'm leaving Delhi and shifting back to Lucknow . Will definitely see in dreams , perhaps someday, the images of the flat in which i stayed for last ten months . Ali sardar jafri ki ek kitaab MERA SAFAR mein .. is nazm ke saffe par kaaghaz ki ek nanhi parchi daba kar rakh li thi .. us ek parchi par us ladki ka email ID likha tha jo umra mein mujhse saat baras badi thi ..school ke waqt ka pyaar mera .. main hamesha ye nazm usey padh kar sunana chaahta tha .. par aisa kabhi ho nahin paaya .. is baat ko beete dus - baarah ho gaye hain .. aaj finally ye nazm record kar...

This poem is written by Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar ( who is a blessed multi-talented artist .. an amazing writer , director and sometimes even an actor ) . The rhythm is attractive . The words and thoughts are so blunt and that is what I find outstanding ( and this is the only reason I've recited this poem and included it in my podcast ) . Poet : Qateel Shifaai . This one poem depicts the frustration of a poet . What is to be published and not to be published is decided by the publisher ( who are idiots with no poetic sense ) . In this poem the poet feels sorry for his beloved ( or the thoughts/pain of his beloved ) . These poems are actually the token of his beloved's thoughts/pain which will never get published and will ultimately get lost in dust . Happy listening :)

Debasmita is undoubtedly the most talented singer whom I've known over years .. this ghazal of Ghalib is just another proof of this .. very few artists have this ability to capture the mood of the listener .. Debasmita is one of them .. this is one ghazal which I always wanted her to sing .. and it definitely suits her style of singing ..

Shaayad kisi ke hijr mein .. yaa kisi ke intezaar mein shaayad .. ek cigarette liye balcony mein baitha hun .. shaam qatra qatra tapak rahi hai .. chaand ki athanni door ufaq par dikhaai pad rahi hai .. Nasir Kazmi ka sher yaad aa raha hai : Humaari ghar ki deewaaron pe naasir .. udaasi baal khole so rahi hai ! Needless to mention .. faiz's poem .

Kaifi Azmi ki ye nazm .. aap iska recitation sunte sunte ye imagine kar sakte hain ki koi naya naya aashiq apne kamre mein raat letkar chhat ko takk raha hai .. chhat ke slate par ye saare lafz dheere dheere ubhar rahe hain .. inhe kal subah woh ek safed kaaghaz par likh kar apni class mein padhne waali us ek ladki ko dene waala jo usko behadd haseen lagti hai ~ Abhishek :)
