My research led me to your podcast. Since the narcissist doesn’t recognize they have a problem and they don’t need help - we do… they rarely end up exploring how they are wired, so they are rarely diagnosed. I am THIRTY TWO years in and I am FINALLY getting the answers I scratched my head about...Read full review »

Where I totally feel for the person in the podcast, this is an impossible story to follow. There is no chronology, just rambling and anecdotes about her relationship w her sociopath/narcissist. I’m very interested in these stories, but after trying several episodes and trying to skip around I...Read full review »

Interesting, especially if you have been impacted by a narcissistic as I have. Married to one for 12 years. I’d never heard of narcissistic personality disorder before I married one. Took years to work out what was wrong. People need a red flag check list when they start dating and run for the...Read full review »

While I appreciate her story but I think I basically stayed for the drama. I’m not 100% sure she wasn’t completely drunk in the second to last episode. It’s a lot of repeating herself. I hope the gets the help and piece of mind she needs.

I’ve seen other reviews saying how there are other podcasts that cover narcissistic abuse better and I’m sure that might be right but this podcast is great for recognizing less clinical patterns of behavior. You read all the signs and symptoms online but they don’t always match up and they’re the...Read full review »

This is almost impossible to listen to for very long. Just a rambling rant. There are much better podcasts about narcissistic abuse out there, one that actually offer useable info for people.

while I appreciate and have compassion for your story and your sense that it needs to be heard, I just did not feel like there was anything within this podcast that helped me move on or pointed me to a way of coping or healing. It really is just a retelling of your story, you are narcissistic...Read full review »

I just got out of a 13 year long situation like this. You are not alone. I agree there needs to be more education on this and plan to do so through my art activism. Thank you for your courageous act of sharing your story. Your a survivor - not everyone gets out but somehow I did too. I completely...Read full review »

Listening to this story was awesome! I’m currently with my husband for 18 years and often think I’m wrong about any of intuitions of what he’s doing. I often ignore any signs I have, spend so much time trying to catch him in the act so I feel validated. When I’m coming to peace that unhappiness...Read full review »

You are spot on about the narc. Mine always tells me he's not my enemy and he's on my side and blah blah blah. I've been with mine 21 years, currently planning my escape. He's sucked my soul dry and I just can't do it anymore.Read full review »

I was married for 7 years to a person like her husband and one day I got brave and left. I never went back it looked back. I never knew there were other people out there experiencing a relationship like this. I am thankful for this podcast and understanding it more so now I can help my children...Read full review »

I wait anxiously for your upcoming podcast! Having left my narcissist boyfriend at the beginning of this year, I have really delved into educating myself more on this topic. Your last episode, however, was a total deja-vu for me being that I know for certain that he would sabotage and do...Read full review »

Someone in my family is married to a covert narc. He portrays himself as a kind, caring spiritual man but behind the scenes at home is cold and cruel and plays insane mind games with her. He has slandered her to her family and THEY BELIEVE HIM. He does crazy making behavior and then points...Read full review »

Karla gives a great accounting of what it was like being married to a sociopath. Note that all sociopaths and psychopaths are narcissists. Not all narcissists are either sociopaths or psychopaths. My ex is a psychopath per the FBI. My family and I were told we are very lucky to be alive. The...Read full review »

I was so excited when I saw this new podcast but, truthfully, was expecting to be a bit disappointed. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. My story is eerily similar to the one Karla shares with her listeners, having been in an 18 year long intimate relationship with a person who closely...Read full review »
